Lakers Improve to 2-1

SEPTEMBER 11 - The Windermere Prep football team improved to 2-1 on the season with a hard-fought 19-15 victory over Faith Christian on Friday afternoon.

The Lakers found themselves trailing 9-0 after the first quarter but responded by scoring the next 19 points to take control of the game. Windermere Prep then held off a late push from Lions to secure the four-point victory.

The Lakers will look to keep the momentum going next Friday night when they travel to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic to take on the Hurricanes. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
