OCTOBER 13 - The Windermere Prep football team returns home on Friday, October 16, for one of the most anticipated evenings of the football season as they host All Saints Academy in a special Homecoming and Senior Night matchup. The evening will celebrate our senior football players and cheerleaders, along with seniors from our golf and sports medicine programs, welcome back members of the Lakers community, and bring students, families, faculty, and alumni together for a night of school spirit and football.

Game Preview

The Lakers (2-4) enter Friday's matchup looking to return to the win column as they prepare to face the Saints. Windermere Prep will look to capitalize on its home-field advantage, where the Lakers have recorded two victories this season, including a 19-15 win over Faith Christian.

All Saints Academy (3-4) enters the contest following a 21-0 shutout victory over Marco Island Academy on October 2. Friday's matchup also marks the Lakers' final scheduled home game of the 2026 regular season, making the evening especially meaningful for the team's senior class.

Homecoming & Senior Night Timeline

Homecoming festivities will take place throughout the school day, beginning with pep rallies and a campus parade before the evening's football game.

Senior Night Recognition

Windermere Prep Athletics is proud to recognize the senior members of our football, cheerleading, golf, and sports medicine programs as part of Friday's celebration. Senior Night provides an opportunity to honor these students for their commitment, leadership, and contributions to Laker Athletics.

Pre-Game Recognition: Football & Cheerleading

Senior football players and cheerleaders will be recognized alongside their families during a special pre-game ceremony beginning at 5:30 PM. Participating families are asked to arrive on campus by 5:00 PM for check-in and lineup to ensure the ceremony begins on schedule.

Halftime Recognition: Golf & Sports Medicine

Senior members of the golf and sports medicine programs will be honored during halftime. Participating families should gather at the end zone tent near the WPS sideline with approximately five minutes remaining in the second quarter to prepare for the recognition ceremony.

Homecoming Halftime Ceremony

The Homecoming celebration will continue at halftime with the annual Homecoming Ceremony. Students, families, faculty, and alumni are invited to join us as we celebrate this special tradition and recognize members of the Windermere Prep Homecoming Court.

Food, Hospitality & Game Day Activities

In addition to the football game and Homecoming festivities, fans can enjoy several food and hospitality options throughout the evening, including the Hospitality Tent, WPVA Cookout, Campus Store Pizza, and Brazilian Food Truck.
