OCTOBER 28 - The Windermere Prep varsity football team opens the postseason this Friday, October 31, when the Lakers host Faith Christian Academy in the SSAA Class 1A Quarterfinals. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 PM at Lakers Field.
Windermere Prep (5–3) enters the playoffs as the #1 seed, while Faith Christian (1–9) holds the #4 seed. The two teams met earlier this season, with the Lakers earning a 22–8 victory over the Lions. The winner of Friday's game will play the winner of Babcock Neighborhood and Marco Island Academy the following week.Â
