OCTOBER 20 - Windermere Prep Football capped a memorable Senior Night with a dominant performance that will be remembered in the record books. Behind an explosive ground attack and disciplined team execution, the Lakers posted one of the most impressive offensive outings in program history.
The Lakers' offense recorded 376 rushing yards, the second-highest team total in school history, while averaging an incredible 23.5 yards per carry, setting a new single-game team rushing average record.
Individually, a standout performance by Peyton Hollern powered the Lakers' offense, as he rushed for 259 yards, tying the single-game rushing record and breaking away for an 80-yard run, which tied for the third-longest rushing play in program history.
"This record-setting night was a fitting way to celebrate the Class of 2026 and their lasting impact on the program," said Head Coach James Hamilton. "The performance reflected the team's growth, unity, and relentless energy—an unforgettable Senior Night at Lakers Field."
