FEBRUARY 6 - It was a fantastic afternoon for Lakers Athletics as our Baseball and Softball teams joined forces for the 1st Annual Scrimmage and Pizza Team Bonding Event. The day was filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and plenty of smiles as players, coaches, and families gathered to celebrate the camaraderie that defines our athletic programs.
A big shoutout to Coach Hamilton and Coach Pena for organizing this special event, which provided both teams the opportunity to sharpen their skills, enjoy some friendly competition, and, most importantly, build lasting connections. Following the scrimmage, players and families came together to share a meal, strengthening the sense of unity that makes Lakers Athletics so special.
Events like these highlight the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and the family atmosphere at Windermere Prep. Thank you to everyone who participated—we can't wait to see this tradition continue for years to come!
