WINDERMERE, FL - Windermere Prep is proud to announce the hiring of two new members to the Athletic Department.
Justin Reynolds has been named the new Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities and Game Day Management and Hayley Ferone has been hired as the new Administrative Assistant to Athletics and Head Girls' Lacrosse Coach.
"This is an exciting moment for Windermere Prep Athletics," said Director of Athletics
Patrick Hollern. "Through the interview process, both Justin and Hayley shared our vision of educational athletics and will allow us to better serve our student-athletes."
Reynolds joins the Lakers from Stetson University where he served as the Interim Equipment Manager and Game Day manager for Stetson athletics. He managed the equipment room across 18 collegiate sports while serving as the point of contact for team travel, logistics and lodging. During his time at Stetson, Reynolds managed the game day operations as well as managing all summer camps on campus.
A graduate of Stetson University, Reynolds was a member of the Hatters' football program before an injury ended his playing career. Reynolds recently completed his Master's Degree from Stetson University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Ferone rejoins the Lakers' athletic department after serving as the head girls' lacrosse coach during the 2019 season. Last season, Ferone led the Lakers girls' lacrosse team to an undefeated season. Ferone is a 2018 graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a degree in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art while playing for the Knight's Women's Lacrosse Team. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative functions for the Athletic Department with a focus on coordinating schedules, ticketing and media relations.
As the Laker's girls' lacrosse head coach, Ferone worked diligently to develop her players physically, socially, and emotionally as the team earned the WPS 2019 Female Team of the Year. Under Ferone's guidance, the girls' lacrosse team saw an increase in participation as a result of a year-round program that provided players with an opportunity to develop their fundamentals.
