2026 Windermere Prep Summer Camps

MAY 12 - Windermere Prep Athletics is excited to announce its 2026 Summer Camp lineup, offering student-athletes opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence, and train with experienced coaches in a fun and competitive environment. Whether students are looking to improve athletic performance in the weight room, sharpen their basketball skills, or elevate their baseball game, Windermere Prep has a summer opportunity designed for them.
 

Get Summer Strong at the Sports Performance Center

Laker Youth Development & Weightlifting 101

Led by Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Vincent Martins, Windermere Prep's summer performance offerings are designed to help student-athletes build a strong athletic foundation through age-appropriate training and skill development.

Coach Martins, a certified strength and conditioning professional (CSCSRSCCUSAW-L1*HSSCC), brings extensive expertise in athletic development and Olympic lifting instruction to the program.

Laker Youth Development (Grades 4–8)

The Laker Youth Development Program is built for younger athletes looking to improve movement, speed, coordination, and overall athleticism. Through structured strength and agility work, participants will learn proper movement patterns while developing balance, control, and body awareness in a safe and supportive environment.

Program Details:

  • Dates: June 1 – July 30 (Mondays & Wednesdays)
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM
  • Location: WPS Sports Performance Center
  • Cost: $350
  • Open to: Students entering Grades 4–8 in Fall 2026

Weightlifting 101 (Grades 6–12)

The Weightlifting 101 Program introduces student-athletes to Olympic lifting fundamentals using USA Weightlifting standards to ensure proper technique and safety. Athletes will receive instruction in foundational lifts including the snatch, clean, and jerk, while also participating in mobility, explosive power training, and accessory strength work.

Whether athletes are new to lifting or looking to refine their technique, this program is ideal for improving strength, speed, and overall athletic performance.

Program Details:

  • Dates: June 1 – July 30 (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
  • Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Location: WPS Sports Performance Center
  • Cost: $350
  • Open to: Students entering Grades 6–12 in Fall 2026

Summer Basketball Camps Hosted by Orlando Basketball Academy

Windermere Prep is proud to partner with Orlando Basketball Academy (OBA) to offer Summer Basketball Camps 2026, hosted on the campus of Windermere Prep and led by Head Boys Basketball Coach Brian Hoff alongside experienced OBA staff and area high school coaches.

Designed for boys entering Grades 3–9, the camp focuses on skill development, competition, and game play in a positive, high-energy environment. Campers will receive instruction in shooting, ball handling, passing, and defense, while participating in fun and competitive drills including Hot Shot, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 games.

Each session concludes with championship competitions, and all participants will receive an official camp t-shirt.

Camp Details:

  • Dates: Multiple weekly sessions available from May 26 – August 6
  • Time: 9:00 AM – Noon
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Location: Lakers Gymnasium at Windermere Prep
  • Cost: $180 per week
  • Open to: Boys entering Grades 3–9

Summer Baseball Camps Hosted by O Turns 2 Baseball

Young baseball players looking to sharpen their skills this summer can participate in the Windermere Prep Summer Baseball Camps, hosted by O Turns 2 Baseball and led by Head Baseball Coach Omar Peña and the Windermere Prep coaching staff.

The camp is designed for athletes serious about improving their game through high-repetition instruction and game-based learning. Players will receive training in hitting, fielding, throwing, baseball IQ, and situational gameplay, all within a structured and competitive environment focused on development and confidence-building.

Each session emphasizes skill progression, individualized feedback, and habits that directly translate to game performance.

Camp Details:

  • Dates: Multiple weekly sessions from June 22 – July 16
  • Time: 9:00 AM – Noon
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Location: Windermere Prep Baseball Field
  • Cost: $180 per week
  • Open to: Boys entering Grades 6–8

Summer Volleyball Camp 

Student-athletes looking to improve their volleyball skills this summer are invited to participate in the Windermere Prep Summer Volleyball Camp, led by Head Volleyball Coach Roe and the Windermere Prep coaching staff.

Designed to support player development in a fun, competitive, and encouraging environment, camp sessions focus on building strong fundamentals and core volleyball skills through mini games, competitive drills, and live gameplay opportunities. Athletes will improve overall gameplay, decision-making, strategy, communication, and teamwork while developing confidence on the court.

Campers will also have opportunities to compete in 6v6 game situations, helping athletes strengthen game awareness and apply skills in real-time competition. Both WPS and non-WPS athletes are welcome.

Camp Details - June Sessions:

  • Dates: Tuesdays - June 2, 9, 16, 23
  • Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Location: Lakers Gymnasium
  • Cost: $50 per session | $175 for all sessions
  • Open to: Students entering Grades 7–12 in Fall 2026

Camp Details - July Sessions:

  • Dates: July 21 - 24
  • Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: Lakers Gymnasium
  • Cost: $40 per session | $150 for all sessions
  • Open to: Students entering Grade 6 in Fall 2026
  • Dates: July 21 - 24
  • Time: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • Location: Lakers Gymnasium
  • Cost: $50 per session | $175 for all sessions
  • Open to: Students entering Grades 7–12 in Fall 2026

Summer Football Camps Hosted by Top Notch Talent

Young athletes looking to sharpen their football skills this summer are invited to participate in the Top Notch Talent Athletics Summer Football Camp, led by Head Football Coach James Hamilton and the Windermere Prep coaching staff.

Designed for athletes entering Grades 3–9, the camp provides a high-energy, structured environment where participants build confidence, improve fundamentals, and gain a competitive edge heading into football season. Camp sessions focus on total player development through speed and agility training, offensive and defensive fundamentals, position-specific instruction, football IQ, and competitive gameplay.

Each session emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and confidence while helping athletes improve both offensive and defensive skill sets in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Athletes from Orlando, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Apopka, Kissimmee, Celebration, and surrounding communities are welcome.

Camp Details:

  • Dates: June 8 - 11, July 13 -16, July 27 - 30
  • Time: 9:00 AM – Noon
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Location: Windermere Prep Lakers Field
  • Cost: $50 per day | $150 per week
  • Open to: Boys entering Grades 3-9 in Fall of 2026
