The Lakers enter Friday's matchup at 2-2 following a hard-fought 17-16 road loss to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic last Friday. The Lakers had an opportunity to take the lead late in the game but came up just short. Friday marks a return home for the Lakers, who are 4-0 lifetime against Trinity Prep.

Trinity Prep also enters the matchup at 2-2 and is coming off a 30-27 victory over The Master's Academy. The Saints have shown the ability to put points on the board, scoring 40 in a shutout victory over Faith Christian and 30 in their most recent win.

The Trinity Prep offense features sophomore running back Kyle He, who has emerged as a key part of the Saints' attack. He rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries in the win over The Master's Academy and leads Trinity Prep with five rushing touchdowns this season. Sophomore quarterback Joseph Macau has thrown four touchdown passes, while senior Jonathan Knowlin leads the Saints in receiving yards per game.

For Windermere Prep, Friday provides another opportunity for the Lakers' new-look offense to continue developing. After injuries to both quarterbacks early in the season, the Lakers shifted to a run-heavy attack that helped produce a 19-15 home victory over Faith Christian. The Lakers rushed for 158 yards in that win.

WHITE OUT & LOWER SCHOOL NIGHT

Friday will also be a WHITE OUT, and all WPS students, families, faculty, and fans are encouraged to wear white and fill the stands in support of the Lakers.

The evening will also serve as Lower School Night, giving our youngest Lakers and their families an opportunity to be part of the Friday night football atmosphere.

Game-day festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., with WVPA grilling and hosting family activities prior to kickoff.
