MAY 1 - Akai Tonge delivered a historic performance, winning the FHSAA Class 2A Regional Championships in both the 110 and 400 hurdles. He broke the school record in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.53, nearly two seconds faster than the previous mark. Later in the day, Tonge surpassed his own record in the 400 hurdles, posting a time of 54.54. He will compete at the FHSAA Class 2A State Championships on May 7 at the University of North Florida.
