Lakers Move to 3-0 on the Season

SEPTEMBER 12 – The Windermere Prep football team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 22-8 victory over Faith Christian. The Lakers held a 7-0 lead at halftime but briefly trailed 8-7 midway through the third quarter. Windermere Prep responded with two straight scoring drives and sealed the win with an interception by Gabe Greer.

Senior Peyton Hollern powered the ground attack with a rushing touchdown, while fellow senior Antonio Farah added a receiving score. The 3-0 start marks the Lakers' best opening stretch since 2022, when they began the season 4-0.

Up next, the Lakers return home to face Bishop McLaughlin on Friday, September 19, at 4:00 p.m.
