OCTOBER 8 - The Windermere Prep Girls' Volleyball team almost made it two tournament championships in a row as the Lakers earned the runner-up at the 2022 Bishop Moore Swing for the Cure HS Invitational this past weekend. The Lakers advanced to the Championship Game before falling to Holy Trinity 2-1 (25-20, 18-25, 7-15.) Windermere Prep is now 12-9 on the season as they enter their final regular season match with Cornerstone Charter in the team's annual "Dig Pink" game on Wednesday. 

Friday, October 7: 

• defeated Steinbrenner: 16-25, 25-21, 15-9
• lost to Martin County: 25-27, 26-28

Saturday, October 8:

• defeated Lake Howell: 25-13, 25-13
• Semifinals: defeated Spanish River: 25-21, 25-21
• Championship: lost to Holy Trinity: 25-20, 18-25, 7-15
