Girls' Volleyball Heads to Nike Invitational

SEPTEMBER 3 - The Windermere Prep girls' volleyball team will take part in the Nike Tournament of Champions held at Game Point Events Center in Orlando this weekend. The tournament field includes some of the top teams from Florida, Alabama, Texas, New York, North Carolina and Georgia. The Lakers begin play on Friday morning at 8:30 am when they take on Trinity Catholic. The Lakers enter the tournament with a 2-1 record after defeating The Master's Academy earlier this week, 3-1. Junior outside hitter, Julia Kane leads the Lakers with 37 kills, 14 service aces and 34 digs. Freshman setter, Tyler Peluso leads the Lakers with 90 assists.

DAY 1 SCHEDULE:

11:30 AM vs. St. Thomas Aquinas
12:30 PM vs. Boone High School
