WINDERMERE PREP LAKERS ATHLETICS

Anne Lyng graduated from Wabash High School in Indiana in 1990. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications in 1995 from Indiana University and her master’s degree in library and information science from the University of South Florida in 2014.

Prior to joining the Lakers, Anne served as a teacher and a varsity assistant in both volleyball and girls’ basketball at Wabash High School (IN) and an assistant basketball and softball coach at Lakeland High in Indiana.

Anne was named the head girls’ golf coach at Windermere Prep in 2016 and has led the team to two FHSAA State Championship appearances and two District Championships.

Anne currently serves as the IB Director in addition to her role as the head girls’ golf coach. Anne and her husband, Steve, the WPS Head of School, reside in Winter Garden.
