MARCH 29 - Windermere Prep is proud to announce that Beth Roe has been named the new head girls' volleyball coach of the Lakers' program. Roe, a graduate of Oral Roberts University spent 14 seasons as the Head Volleyball Coach at Metro Christian Academy in Oklahoma.
According to Patrick Hollern, the Director of Athletics, "We are thrilled to have Beth join the Windermere Prep community as the new leader of our girls' volleyball program. Throughout our discussions, what truly impressed us was Coach Roe's unwavering enthusiasm and dedication to guiding and mentoring our players."
Coach Roe was assigned the duty of initiating the girls' volleyball program at Metro Christian Academy in 2008. In the program's ninth season, the team finished as the state runner-up, and by the twelfth season, Coach Roe led Metro Christian Academy to the program's first state championship title. Throughout her tenure, Coach Roe trained six All-State players and launched the Metro Legacy Volleyball Club, which allowed the players in her program to participate in club volleyball.
