WINDERMERE, FL. - The boys' varsity basketball team improved to 6-0 on the season as the Lakers defeated Osceola High School, 63-61 at the buzzer Saturday afternoon. With the game tied at 61 with 4.1 seconds left in the game, Jouldan Velez hit the game winner as the buzzer sounded. 

Sophomore Fanbo Zeng had a game-high 19 points and junior Elijah Hulsewe added 16 points, 8 coming in the fourth quarter. This is the first-time in school history that the Lakers have started the season 6-0. The Lakers led 30-23 at the half.
